Architectural photography can be a great way of exploring and documenting a city, whether it's your home or on holiday. Its about capturing not only the design and accurate representation of a building, but to have the shots be aesthetically pleasing to the viewer's eye. An architectural photographer makes pictures, not takes pictures.

In this session, we will be covering how to better understand Architecture photography and we'll be looking at ways to take some impressive shots and the camera settings to use.

A fantastic experience, our teacher Sudipta taught us the basic foundations of watercolour and then led us on to create a landscape painting. Each one of our 5 paintings were very different but really well finished. We all enjoyed the experience

I?m not so good at pure watercolour so I started adding ink and became a ?line and wash? painter. I like to paint ?plein air? in the summer and work from photos in winter. I?m English, I?ve been in Ireland three and a half years, and have started painting scenes near my home in Malahide. Last year I was seriously ill, but now I?m recovering and looking forward to getting out with my paints again. I love painting quirky buildings - there?s nothing as nice as a good gable end.

The route is made up of a walking/ cycling trail for 21km which runs from Carrick-on-Suir to Clonmel and a further 32km of waterway along the River Suir which can be canoed or kayaked. It is the river-based element of the route that makes it a Blueway rather than a Greenway! I belong to a small group of fellow artists that formed during the pandemic to encourage one another while we were unable to take classes. We are still meeting monthly to share our artwork. Each month we have a topic and the month I created this, the topic was ?rain.? I splashed water on my kitchen counter and placed a pair of sunglasses on the water and took it from there!
